Haley & Collin’s Romantic Ranch Wedding at Hidden River Ranch: A Real-Life Love Story

Some love stories feel like they’re pulled straight from a movie—and Haley & Collin’s is exactly that. Their wedding day at Hidden River Ranch in Lampasas, Texas, was the perfect blend of heartfelt simplicity, timeless style, and unforgettable moments. As their planner, I had the joy of helping bring their vision to life, from curating the dream team of vendors to making sure every moment was filled with meaning (and a little bit of Texas charm).

From Ranch Hand to Romance

Collin’s journey to Haley began in a way that truly sounds like a scene from a romance novel. He accepted a job as a ranch hand on Haley’s family’s ranch, packed up his life in Tennessee, and made the move to Texas. What he didn’t know was that God had more than just work in store—he and Haley met, fell in love, and the rest is history.

A Classy, Southern Celebration

When Haley & Collin described what they wanted for their wedding, the theme was clear: simple, elegant, and heartfelt. We leaned into timeless elements with a clean, romantic design that let their love (and their story) shine.

For rentals, we worked with Premiere Event Rentals to bring in classic white linens, soft champagne napkins, and warm gold accents that added just the right touch of sophistication. The overall look was fresh and elevated without feeling overdone—exactly what Haley envisioned.

The floral magic came courtesy of Ever Peach Florals, who created stunning arrangements in tones of soft pinks, neutrals, and greenery. From the ceremony cross to the centerpieces, every bloom added warmth and texture to the celebration.

We also helped the couple book Austin Catering who kept the guests happy & full with their delicious dinner menu & drink service. 

Memorable Moments & Personal Touches

While the day was elegant, it was also filled with playful, personal details that made it so uniquely them.

One of the biggest hits? Beer donkeys during cocktail hour! Yes—you read that right. Adorable donkeys through Ears with Beers were decked out in wedding-ready gear and strolled through cocktail hour offering ice-cold beers to guests. It was a major crowd pleaser and brought the perfect amount of fun to the evening.

And then there was the car. Not just any getaway car—a black & red 1957 vintage Corvette that belonged to Haley’s grandfather, who had won it in a giveaway years prior. The car itself was a piece of family history, and it made for a dramatic, nostalgic exit that no one will forget.
